Prithviraj Chauhan was an hero who could hit his enemy by sound only and was an hero who in his young age killed a cheetah without any weapon and Cheetah is one of the most dangerous animals.

Prithviraj Chauhan is a man who defeated a dreadful enemy like Mohammad Gauri for 17 consecutive times. Friends, Prithviraj Chauhan was the last Hindu king to sit on the throne of Delhi before the Mughal rule.

Friends story began in 1149 when Prithviraj Chauhan was born in Ajmer in the house of King Someshwar Chauhan, his mother’s name was Karpura Devi.

Friends, Prithviraj Chauhan was fond of sports like Patwari, Swordsmanship since childhood.

But his biggest feature was the use of the worded arrow. This meant that he would set the target exactly by listening to the voice and setting the direction.

And friends, when his maternal grandfather Anandpal who was the king of Delhi came to know about this feature of Prithviraj Chauhan, he was very happy and decided to make Prithviraj Chauhan the king of Delhi.

And Prithviraj Chauhan became the king of Delhi at the age of only 16. After sitting on the throne of Delhi, Prithviraj Chauhan built a fort named Pithoragarh.

Prithviraj Chauhan’s childhood was spent in Ajmer, due to which he became stuck in Ajmer even after becoming the king of Delhi, due to which he made both cities the capital.

At the same time, Prithviraj Chauhan, by continuously winning the campaign, he increased the boundaries of his kingdom and made it much bigger. He extended the boundaries of his kingdom to Gujarat and East Punjab.

In view of their so much progress, a sense of jealousy was born in the hearts of many kings. Jaichand was one of those kings whose capital was Kanauj.

But the more Jaichand was jealous of Prithviraj Chauhan’s fame, his daughter Sanyogita was equally impressed by the courage and valor of Prithviraj Chauhan.

Prithviraj Chauhan also used to like Sanyogita very much in his mind, but when all these things came to know about King Jayachand, his anger increased further.

He decided that he would marry his daughter as soon as possible and together they created a crunch to humiliate Prithviraj Chauhan.

Raja Jaichand organized a swayamvar for his daughter’s wedding in which she could choose the groom of her choice, Sanyogita was also very happy with this. He invited all the big and small kings of the country, except Prithviraj Chauhan.

He made an idol of Prithviraj Chauhan and made him a gatekeeper and placed it at the entrance of the marriage hall. When it was time for the ‘Swavar’, the daughter of Jayachand put the garland of the Swavar in the neck of the idol of Prithviraj Chauhan without seeing any king.

Seeing this, Jaichand and all the king Hasses who came for marriage were left in awe. But the story started when Prithviraj Chauhan came out from behind the idol and rode Sanyogita on his horses.

Seeing this, Jaichand’s anger was not limited, but Prithviraj Chauhan had gone far before he could do anything.

At the same time, Muhammad Ghori, the ruler of Afghanistan, was moving towards India. He established his rule by defeating the descendants of Mahmud Ghaznavi who was ruling in western Punjab.

Mohammad Gauri continued to drift towards victory and during this time he reached Bhatinda from where Prithviraj Chauhan’s border started.

But as soon as Prithviraj Chauhan came to know about this attack, he reached Bhatinda with his army.

While Mohammad Gauri’s army was drunken with victory, Prithviraj Chauhan’s army was full of patriotism and Prithviraj Chauhan was constantly motivating him.

Prithviraj Chauhan and his soldiers caused such a bad plight of Mohammad Gauri and his soldiers that Mohammad Gauri had all the hope. Some of Mohammed Ghori’s soldiers somehow escaped after saving his and Mohammad Ghori’s life.

Prithviraj Chauhan had also earned so much in this war that he distributed all his soldiers.

And friends, history testifies that Mohammed Ghori came again to attack 16 times continuously and must have had to eat his mouth.

When Jayachand, the father of Sanyogita, came to know about all these things, he considered the occasion to be correct with Prithviraj Chauhan. And Jaychand, together with Mohammad Ghori.

Two years later in 1192, Mohammad Ghori challenged Prithviraj Chauhan to fight again, this time Mohammad Gauri had a huge army of 120000 soldiers. Prithviraj Chauhan asked him to return, reminding him of past defeats.

Mohammad Ghori followed his policy of deceit and retreated his army a little, which made Prithviraj Chauhan feel that he agreed to his word.

But Mohammad Ghori was waiting for the right time, one day in the morning, when all the soldiers of Prithviraj Chauhan were busy in worshiping.

Then Mohammad Ghori attacked and surrounded Prithviraj Chauhan from all sides and took him and his dear friend Chandbardai captive.

When Prithviraj was presented in front of Mohammad Ghori in the court, Prithviraj warned Mohammad Gauri that you kill me otherwise you will have to regret it.

But Mohammad Ghori, who was defeated for 16 consecutive times, wanted to avenge him by torturing Prithviraj Chauhan.

He asked Prithviraj Chauhan to stand with his eyes closed. On hearing this, Prithviraj Chauhan said – A true Rajput that only death can bow down.

Mohammad Ghori angrily ordered Prithviraj Chauhan to burst his eyes. And finally he was blindfolded and imprisoned.

This pain of Prithviraj was not seen from the beloved friend Chandbardai of Prithviraj Chauhan who was taken captive with Prithviraj Chauhan.

And he attended the court of Mohammed Ghori and said that Prithviraj could shoot the target without seeing it, Mohammed Ghori did not believe and he got Prithviraj Chauhan to attend the court to know this.

Prithviraj Chauhan was asked to demonstrate his art by giving arrows and bows. But Prithviraj Chauhan said that I am a king and I will only obey the dictates of the Sultan. I will show my art only when the Sultan himself says this.

Mohammad Ghori ordered Prithviraj Chauhan to exhibit his art. On hearing the voice of Mohammad Ghori, Prithviraj Chauhan got his direction.

And Chandbardai, a friend of Prithviraj, standing together, read a couplet – four bamboo twenty-four yards grape is the Sultan above the Ashta proof. Through the couplet, Chandabardai informed Gauri’s distance to Prithviraj.

On hearing this, Prithviraj knew about the distance and direction of Gauri and he shot the target directly on Ghori’s neck, and Gori died at the same time.

Prithviraj Chauhan and Chandbardai. They killed each other by stabbing each other, in order to avoid the misfortune that would happen to them.

Hearing the news of Prithviraj Chauhan’s death, his wife Sanyogita also gave up his own life.

And in this way a brave warrior was released by the deceit and deceit of his people at the court of death. But Prithviraj Chauhan still rules in people’s hearts.
